Biography
Basant is a versatile head-hunter with 20 years multi-industry hiring experience. During his career, he has successfully closed a number of top and senior level positions (including Managing Directors, Directors, CEOs/CXOs, Country Heads, CFOs, VPs, GMs, HODs) for reputed companies across a broad spectrum of industries. He has recruited talent across sectors, i.e., Engineering; Infrastructure & Construction (including EPC, oil & gas, real estate); Manufacturing (automobile, textiles, steel, cement, specialty chemicals, office automation); Consumers (FMCG, consumer durables, retail, travel & tourism, hospitality, media & advertising); Life-sciences & Healthcare; Shipping & Logistics; and Financial (BFSI).
He has earlier worked with another Indian search firm at Mumbai for 8years.
Basant has been an important member of KLS&A team since our early stage; and has immensely contributed to the firm’s success. He is credited with successfully closing a number of top and senior level positions at KLS&A. Though he has simple demeanours, his head-hunting skills are extraordinary. He is passionate about executive search, works very hard, and enjoys closing challenging positions.

Basant is a BA (Sociology), and holds a post graduate diploma in human resources from Wellingkar’s, and is now undergoing his Executive MBA programme.
